  •    Description

    1. In accordance with standard requirements, ball valves designed for operating temperatures below -50°C typically feature an extended neck structure to elevate the temperature at the stem seal area and ensure reliable stem sealing. The neck length generally meets standard specifications but can be customized based on special customer requirements as per contract.

    2. In cryogenic service valves, when closed, residual fluid trapped in the central cavity may evaporate upon warming, causing rapid volume expansion and abnormal pressure buildup, which could lead to valve failure. Our ball valves are equipped with an automatic pressure relief system: in the event of abnormal pressure rise in the central cavity, the medium is self-vented by displacing the seat, ensuring valve safety.

    3. Upon contract requirement, cryogenic testing can be conducted to verify torque and sealing performance at low temperatures. Valve components undergo cryogenic treatment to ensure dimensional and structural stability under low-temperature conditions.
